LAVISH LOCK

You come to a very fancy locked door. Beside the door is an iron block. At the top of the block, a key shape has been etched into the iron. At the base of the block, there is an indent.

Upon closer inspection, you find two riddles carved into the iron block.

Riddle Answers:
1. Gold or Coins

2. Fire

Solution

The iron block is a furnace. Place coins at the top and build a fire in the base. The coins will melt into a very expensive key for the very lavish lock.

If your players come up with another solution, go with it!

Notes for the Dungeon Master:

This puzzle requires your players to have coins, a firestarter and fuel to burn. If your players don’t have these materials, include them in the dungeon.

You may want to set a required cost to make the key.
